Divine Beings with Highest Energy
There are Divine Beings who, apart from Angels, are the closest to the Highest, the Gods. They keep the order in the cosmos and help humanity. According to Vedic Teachings, many thousands of years ago, huge beings with enormous powers and abilities came to earth from another planetary system. Vishnu: Divine Being - Protector of our world
Vishnu is the energy that protects and sustains the universe and the cosmic order. Together with Brahman and Shiva he creates, sustains and renews our universe. His creative power, also called Shakti, works in his divine wife Laxmi as well. His son is Kama, the god of love, who is represented with a bow and an arrow. If the world is threatened by destruction, he sends an Avatar like Krishna, Rama, Jesus or Buddha. Their activities and teachings remind humanity that unconditional love is the highest force in the universe to overcome any difficulties for a fulfilled and happy life.
Shiva: Supreme Divine Being
Shiva is understand as the most powerful Divine Being in the Vedic tradition. His energy move stars, planets and mountains. Shiva is considered to be the supreme manifestation of the One, called Brahman, the universal energy source. He and is always in deepest union with the Highes and brings the creator energy down to earth. This union with the source energy is also known as Yoga. Therefore Shiva is also the supreme Yogi and master of meditation. To be undisturbed, he meditates on Mount Kailash in the Himalayas for thousands of years.
According to Vedic mythology, Shiva is part of the cosmic trinity also called Trimurti. Together with the Divine Energies of Brahma and Vishnu, he creates and sustains the universe. With a trick of Shiva, the gods received the elixir, but at the same time a poisonous liquid gushed out of the sea, threatening to destroy the world. The almighty Divine Being Shiva swallowed the poison as a sign of his unconditional love, but his head and neck turned blueish. His blue appearance is called Nilkantha. This story demonstrates the enormous power of Shiva, who transforms everything negative into positive.
Shiva also represents the ease of life and letting go of negativities and challenges through his cosmic dance. Same time he eliminated what is not for the highest good of the universe and allows new creations. As a dancer he is also known as Natraja or Tandava. Shiva’s female counterpart is Shakti, also called Parvati, who also has enormous cosmic powers. Together with their children they are the “Holy Family”. Their son Ganesha dissolves blockages and enables the free flow of energy.

The Ganesha energy represents many very positive things like the beginning and the removal of obstacles for a free flow of energies. Ganesha is the son of the almighty Shiva and Parvati. He is depicted with the head of an elephant. He destroys pride, selfishness and vanity, which are considered blockages to spiritual development. Physically he also ensures the flow to reach destines and achieve goals.
As Vigneshwara he represents the energy of wisdom, intellect, universal sciences, arts and sacred literature like the Vedas. Ganesha is also often shown dancing. He loves and enjoys life. There are various stories about his unusual appearance as half of an elephant. The following story is the one most often told in Vedic mythology: Shiva and his wife Parvati had a son. Shortly after birth, Shiva went back to the Himalayas in a deep meditation.
After a few years he wanted to go back to his family. Arriving at his home, he saw a handsome boy embracing his wife tightly. Blinded by jealousy, he beheaded the supposed intruder. Parvati was so upset that she asked the gods for help to keep him alive. She was told to cut off the head of the next creature she sees in the forest and place it his body. Well, she saw an elephant. Shiva, plagued by guilt, decided that from now on, anyone who starts a prayer should first name Ganesha. It he also known by the name Ganpati.

Laxmi represents love, luck, harmony, health, beauty and fertility as well as abundance, prosperity and wealth. She is also the protector of plants and the power Shakti, that sustains the universe. It is said that female deities such as the Egyptian beings Isis and Hathor, but also Mother Mary, originate from her energy or are energetically connected to her.
Laxmi is the female counterpart of Vishnu, her husband. Vishnu is one of the three main cosmic energies of the universe together with Brahma and Shiva. Saraswati: Divine Being for Wisdom
Saraswati is the energy of knowledge, wisdom and arts. She is considered to be the female power Shakti of Brahma, the creator of the universe. She is also called Mahavidya, great wisdom and represents the energy of learning, language, poetry, music, painting, singing and dancing. She is considered as the “mother of the Vedas and Sanskrit. As the eight-armed Mahasaraswati, she is one of the three female creator energies along with the Mahalaxmi and the Mahakali. She is particularly revered by schoolchildren, students, philosophers and intellectuals.
Krishna. Divine Being and Avatar of Love
Krishna embodies earthly love and sensuality and shows what power love has over the “Evil”. According to Vedic mythology, Krishna is an Avatar of Vishnu, one of the three main energies sustaining the universe together with Brahma ans Vishnu. He is said to have lived in the 4th millennium before Jesus. Krishna is considered an example of self-realization. Even as an infant, he naturally saw himself as a part of the universe and used the universal power and love energy to save and improve the world.
The Mahabharata, one the main books of Vedic history and wisdom described how Krishna as a king on earth had to deal with two rival families claiming his throne.
